Amazed on how you can feel the vibe. Everyone was so welcoming. We went on a random Tuesday night with no reservations and were seated all the way to the back. I suspect, people did call because by the time we got our food, the place was packed. I don't particularly like lamb, it is not my "go to" protein AT ALL! But this one tasted good since my friend made me sample her lamb. It was grilled right, seasoned perfectly enough just to bring the flavor out and it did not have any after taste. The dessert baklava was on the sweet side but with the vanilla ice cream, it did hit the nail on the head. I highly recommend this hidden gem. Should you crave for something Mediterranean and Greek crossover, have ample parking in the Alexandria area, this is your place. Go try it, I know I will again.

We came as a big group to celebrate my friend's birthday. The restaurant was very accommodating to keep the birthday cake in the fridge and putting the flowe bouquet in their vase to present on our table. Also very friendly staff! Most of us had the 4-course meal. $36 for 4 course meal. It's a great deal! I had hummus, sigara borek, Manti and rice pudding. Everything was delicious but the most I was impressed was their chicken souvlaki, which I had a piece from my friend. I never order chicken souvlaki because it's overcooked 99% of the time but Smyrna restaurant had such tender, juicy chicken! I will definitely order chicken souvlaki next time. Another friend of mine had Aegen Kebab which looked delicious too. We had an amazing dinner celebrating my friend's birthday here.

Food was delicious and HUGE portions! Service was excellent, they are fast, but happy to answer any questions you may have in the menu to include the difference between a Greek orzo or Turkish one. Who knew Greek orzo was sweeter? Also the atmosphere is cute, there is Mediterranean music in the background with the massive white and blue colors all around. Burgers was our server and he even gave us complementary Turkish tea to accompany our desserts! Highly recommend saving room for the Baklava or Kataifi!

Greek and Turkish fusion restaurant. When you walk in you feel like you have taken a trip to a Greek/turkish restaurant. The restaurant decor is amazing! I ordered the Turkish salad and the chicken souvlaki. The salad was packed full of flavor the walnuts added a nice crunch on top. The chicken souvlaki was season to perfection. The entree was served with a side salad that had the most delicious pomegranate molasses dressing. Smyrna also has a three course lunch menu for $21 which is a pretty good deal. The service was excellent the owner/chef even came out to check to see how everything was. This place is definitely worth a visit.
